I guess having your first kid is a hell of a lot different than your next litter, but there are so many things that you don't need brand spankin' new and so many things that are perfectly fine as handmedowns. We didn't have a baby shower for the twins and got a lot of handmedowns from aunts and uncles and friends. Things we can't do without are: Two pack and plays. (One upstairs by our bed and one downstairs near the kitchen.) Two boppy pillows. Two crib inclines. Two cribs, of course. Two car seats and four bases. The double tandem stroller is the frickin beesknees when it's just you trying to get two babies in and out of anywhere. Bottles. Diapers. Wipes. Formula. We started stocking up on these at like 15 weeks, so our stockpiles will probably run dry here in a few days hahaha. good luck Deena!
