Hope Mason is doing better. Ive been through the same thing as you. 20 hopsializations since august of 2009, last hospitalization march 2010. Same shit another day. Ive gotten thrown from the hospital. been moved from floor to floor, and why because ill slap a doctor and a nurse. Oh yes everyone looks at you as if you have two heads and stupid. Well my behavior has not paid off now I have the only Gi specailist in the Albany ny are refruse to see me..And her dammmm pediatrician isnt doing a dame thing. She has a trach was born 1 pound, no nerological damage but all this prjectile puke has to stop. Back in October I begged them to sculp her!! One ultrasound after another. All negative, but haa this last one the lady told me they miss GERd in babies because itjust LUCK to see it. 90% of babies are missed because of this. So I called this GI after hours and he didnt remember me so I kept professional concerned parent. He agreed to sculped her!! We got Sculpt today. Aww hiatal hernia caused from REFLUX, pyloric stenosis which causes GERD. She has to have three surgeries. Well if the asswhole would of done this in the beginning she wouldnt of suffered so long. Good Luck

I can't even tell you how worried I was for Mason the whole time. I was talking to everyone I knew, trying to figure out what it could be. Hard to do from several thousand miles away. I had cried more than once knowing he was starving through nothing less than the IMMENSE effort of you two to figure out what was wrong.

Huge massive kudos for not giving up, and not just taking the same bull crap line they give everyone. Way to go to bat for your kid. And please post more pictures of them. He will catch up to his BIG sister in NO time!

Hugs and a wet willy. Good job, guys.

This was a freaking NIGHTMARE! I can't believe they made your poor little baby go through all this shit! Doctors can be so infuriating, and you are sooooo right about having to be the advocate for your kids. My son had REALLY bad reflux as a baby & we did the whole experimentation thing w/him too. We even ended up at a gastro dr's office at Children's Memorial who was a total ass. We ended up doing the Zantax & thickening w/rice until he was 9 months old. He eventually outgrew it, thank God. I'm so glad you were finally able to get the answers you needed & high fives for standing up & doing something about it!
